Family_072009 We hope that you enjoy browsing through it! We live in New Jersey in the USA, roughly midway between Philadelphia and New York - on the right hand side you can see the current and forecasted weather conditions for our home town. This is a picture of all of us together at my brother's wedding in Guernsey (one of the U.K Channel Islands) last July.


There are webcams attached to the front, side and rear of the house that take pictures every minute, 24 hours a day, so you can see what we see from our house. Most of the time things are pretty quiet (as you'll see if you broswe through the past pictures).


Please take a look at our family photo albums too - there is now an autopost section that allows Alan to post pictures taken on his iPhone when he is out and about. You can keep track of Alan in the location section (top right of this page) - clicking on the link will take you to a map showing his location.

Our Favorite Websites.

- The BBC Website is a great source of unbiased news, sports (Alan follows Leicester City whereas David is an avid Manchester United fan) and Radio Programmes. The BBC's podcasts are great, particularly the twice daily Global News summary.
- All things Google: Google Maps, Google Calendar, Google Mail (Gmail), and Latitude, which is Google's location tracking service. This Google Map shows where Alan is currently located.
- The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for weather related information.

- Wikipedia is a great source of general information on just about anything, though as my kids keep telling me you should never rely on just on site for important information.

- We like to read the New York Times online to keep up to date on what is going on in the US.
